Other Month:September Season:Fall Weather:It's dark and dreary out; rain is frequent. Recently, however, there have been only light drizzling rain throughout the day until sundown. Temperature:60's during the day, but at night it drops to 30's Our Intro-Box The first thing you see is darkness. Dark shadows-above you, below you, swallowing you whole. Then, you hear a voice. "Maricham isn't going to give up." "Yeah, I heard that too." Listening intently, interested, you stand and walk slowly toward the voices, your hand pressed against cold soil. You strain to hear more, thinking, 'Maricham? Wasn't he the one that wanted peace? Or was that Raport? Nah, Raport wanted power-didn't he? God, who was Maricham again?' Ignoring your stressing thoughts, you lean against the cave wall, still listening as the voices go on. "They caught a Maricham soldier, too. Can you believe it? I thought they were supposed to be the best!" "It's that Jeff Callor character. He's young, remember? Young, foolish, and hes got too much pride." "Yeah, well..." A pause. "He's an air officer. No, no, THE air officer! Maricham trusted him, but he got captured." 'Jeff...Jeff...I remmeber Jeffory Callor! I went to school with him! Wow...he was in a WAR? He certainly didnt seem to be that type...' you think, walking again. You trip over a root, alerting the voices. "Who's there?!" "Show yourself!!" Gasping, you spin and run back through the tunnels as fast as you can, enveloped in blackness. Unsure of where to go, you have to decide whether to stay underground and try to blend in, or go back aboveground and try to survive. It's your choice. It's your life. Live it, or waste it.
